Because this is an official Heart of Texas Bowl function, all Heart of Texas Bowl policies will be enforced during the event, as well as all State laws and regulations.

PUBLIC DISPLAY AND CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ON THE GROUNDS OF A PUBLIC SCHOOL IS PROHIBITED. The penalty for such a crime is a Class C misdemeanor.

HEART OF TEXAS BOWL TAILGATING POLICY

Every Heart of Texas Bowl Game Tailgater must possess a game-day ticket.

Persons wishing to tailgate must be within the designated Heart of Texas Bowl Tailgating Area.

Responsible and appropriate behavior is required during tailgating events.

Each tailgate spot must have a contact person that is responsible for the behavior and actions of his/her guests.

Tailgaters with RV’s, Buses, etc. will be asked to pay $20 for entry to the parking area.

Tailgating will cease 30 minutes before kick-off.

No glass containers are allowed.

All tailgating materials (except grills) must be packed up by kick-off. Grills must be extinguished with water before leaving them unattended.

State laws and Heart of Texas Bowl policies will be STRICTLY enforced on property.
Persons violating alcohol laws on property are subject to arrest,disciplinary sanctions (if applicable), and tailgating privileges forfeited (no refunds).

Tailgaters are responsible for removing all food, trash, etc. from their designated space.Do not leave or dump charcoal, wood, or grease in the trash cans, grass, shrubs, parking lots, or street drains.

The Heart of Texas Bowl is happy to continue the tradition of tailgating at bowl football games for the teams!
